Once a long, long time ago, there was a leopard cub. He lived in the hills with his mother. One day he wandered down out the hills and traveled to a land of flatness and plains. He saw other cats there, big cats, but they had stripes as he had spots.
He settled down with the cats, and spend much of his life there. They didn’t mind that he was different as he didn’t mind that they were different. Over time, he grew up and developed a life he found very fulfilling. His work fed his Self, and supported his Soul as well as provided valuable services for his striped fellows. But he began to miss his family, who he realized were another lost part of his soul. Every time he tried to leave, his striped friends asked him back, pulled him back for they loved him and did not want him to leave. Finally, one day he left, and when he tried to cross into the hills again, he came upon a river. For years, the leopard traveled along this river. He followed it North, then he turned and followed it South. One day, after many years of traveling and trying to find a way across the river, he realized something…
He could swim…
